Edit a legend?

Hello Everybody,
I have done an application with graphs...though it is complete but a new new requirement have made me ill..
i need to change the legends, name of axis(X and Y) while the applicatiojn is running.....it is totally new thing ..i searched a lot bt still n success.. do any one know this....
for example if is the legend used is score...the user must be able to change it to anything after he runs the application... its a desktop application.
any help will be appriciated.
