Error when trying to pass value between different form

This is the problem I am facing!

I have 2 forms, this pic is form2.cs code

I try to transer text from a form2 textBox to form1 textBox

Anyone know how to fix it? Because I searched for it and had no idea

Sample :

In Form 1 Load place the below code :
private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Form2 form2 = new Form2();
form2.Owner = (Form)this;
form2.Show();
}

In form 2 button click place :
private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
this.Owner.Controls.Find("textBox1", true).First().Text = "Hello";
}

This way we are trying to assign value to a text box in form 1 from form 2 .

Ok, you may ask : "What the hell is this man doing?"
But that is my problem. It appears "string does not contain definition for BeginUpdate, Items, EndUpdate"
I try this because your code passes textBox1.Text from form1 to form2
I want to pass textBox1.Text from form2 to form1 (by cliking a form2 button)
Is there a way to fix this?

Hi,

Form1 otherForm = new Form1();

textBox1.Text = otherForm.textBox1.Text;

This should work. Try out .
