Ethernet and UWP

I have a project in which i have to make 2 apps i.e. sender and reciever. Now i have to send some .txt file from sender to reciever via Ethernet (LAN). I don't know much about doing it.

I will be very gratefull if someone among you will tell me about the necessary terms & approaches that i have to use in this project.
