How to extract annots review status from pdf using itextsharp in vb.net ?

I don’t how itextsharp works. However, using LEADTOOLS the code is as simple as this:
Dim document As PDFDocument = New PDFDocument("C:\Temp\Annleadtools.pdf")
Dim options As PDFParsePagesOptions = PDFParsePagesOptions.Annotations
document.ParsePages(options, 1, -1)
For Each page As PDFDocumentPage In document.Pages
For Each annobj As PDFAnnotation In page.Annotations
Console.WriteLine(annobj.Content.ToString())
Next annobj
Next page
