Hi, apologies for a simple C# question, am not from .Net area.

I am looking for a C# sample program that takes #1. a CSV file as input #2. Changes a couple of columns #3. writes the result into a new file.

Could you please direct me to a sample piece of code or reply here.

Do you need the file I/O or the processing of the CSV data?

Processing of the CSV data might be easy if the data does not use quote characters to delimit the text data.

The following shows an easy way to process the CSV data if the data is simple enough.
string record = "1,One,Comment";
Console.WriteLine("Before: {0}", record);
string[] sa = record.Split(',');
sa[2] = "Modified";
record = string.Join(",", sa);
Console.WriteLine(" After: {0}", record);
Output:
Before: 1,One,Comment
After: 1,One,Modified
