filter record from listbox

how to filter listbox items when typing in combobox..

fill items in listbox when at least one character match with combobox text

with out using SQL statement

varitemList=registrationListBox.Items.Cast<string>().ToList();
if(itemList.Count>0)
{
//cleartheitemsfromthelist
registrationListBox.Items.Clear();
//filtertheitemsandaddthemtothelist
registrationListBox.Items.AddRange(
itemList.Where(i=>i.Contains(comboxbox.Text)).ToArray());

lbSearch.ValueMember = "catID";
int count = FillList.Rows.Count;
if (count > 0)

lbSearch.Items.Clear();

lbSearch.Items.Add(FillList.Rows[i]["CatName"].ToString());
}
}

it display All items from datatable object but i can't filter items ...

what is itemlist in this code???
i want to filter items from listbox as some character typed in combobox ??
suppose when i type "M" in combobox then listbox filter its itemlist which contains
"M" in C# without using SQL STATEMENT...
