find sql server 'sa' password

I did search a lot but didn't find the correct solution for how to find the username and password of SQL server and neither i can't make a new login

To be on safer side before uninstalling and reinstalling new sql server instance. Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL{version}.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\ And copy all mdf files. However those are never deleted anyway but taking a backup will be good.

simply uninstall and install a new instance of SQL server and this time create a login with full concentration

If you have followed above steps then your sql server will start in single mode with all prevelages so, everything should have worked. Share the screenshot of startup parameters of step 3.

follow following steps
1. press the window button and search SQL Server configuration manager (e.g SQL Server 2022 configuration manager )
2. click on SQL server services and on the right side right-click on the running instance. and go to properties

3. Add -f in the startup parameters and apply and click OK.

4. click on window button and search "services"

on the services window select sql server and select restart the service from left side

5. create a new login
ALTER LOGIN sa enable
GO

CREATE LOGIN Nirvriti WITH PASSWORD = 'Rahuketu@1234';

6. Remove the startup parameter and restart the SQL Server service (following step 3 and 4)
7. Login using Nirvriti and 'Rahuketu@1234'
