hi,
C# is the best language as I know, but using this language you can build so maney applications now, like microsoft added xamarin, which is used to develop any mobile applicatons,even cross platform, websites using asp.net,MVC framework, asp.core,etc, for desktop WPF, like so many are there, so learn which you can and go high, all are c# + some other language this will make you easy.
