So many peoples are trying to find out the answer for the same question. If you will search on Google for the same question you will get so many contradictory results. Check these two sample results.
So this is really confusing which one is better VB or C#. Everyone has their own experiences with both programming languages and that’s why they feel VB is better or C# is better.
As per my own opinion, I am working with both programming languages from last 5 to 6 years and I feel both are equally best because it depends on you how deep knowledge you have about this language. When I think I have to brush up my VB coding skills I prefer VB for new projects and vice versa, because client’s only interested in final result they need output, they never going to ask you which language you used to developed this application?.
Why most people prefer C# more than VB:
You will find more code snippets and examples for C# Programming as compare to VB so this is what the main reason I think because of people prefer C# more than VB.
So, I would like to suggest you Go with that programming language with which you feel comfortable and if you feel now I am master with this language then try to learn other one also.
