Ghost file in SharePoint Online when I try to debug?

I am facing very strange issue in SharePoint Online.

I have a kept some JavaScript code to a Content Editor Web Part on a SharePoint Online Page.

When I try to debug the JavaScript file, instead of opening my JavaScript file, everytime it opens a new virtual file with debugger.

I am not understanding what is this, is this issue is related to SharePoint or Browser?

Please find the below image

Here you can see that the debugger is expected to be in AuditReport.js file but it opened in VM5979 file. And every time it open up a new file.

Can anyone have idea on this why this happens?

Hi, The Unwanted js looks to be custom JS file / inline code (may be developed by other team member).
Since "debugger" is placed inside JS code, it gets hit everytime.

I am pretty sure its more of browser issue, please try using different browser and also please refer this below link for live editing the javascript and css files in SharePoint online
