Good view to show reports?

Hi,
I have a dataset with some orderlines now I would like to present this data with different reports.

I would like to show Weekly reports (in total) and Weekly report based on Product Numbers.

What is a good way to do that?

Please, give some directions where I should start.

thanks for answering.

I have read about Crystal Reports but I also read that they are not built-in with Visual Studio 2010. Does that (maybe) mean that it is better to focus on ReportViewer?

I have not worked with "Charts" eariler but have now and they might be enough for my reports (mostly "Weekly Summary" reports).

It depends on What kind of application you will use to present those reports. In case of Web I'll suggest SSRS reports. For Windows application I'll prefer crsytal reports. on the contrary you can even use simple forms to show this data as a report. Use Grids, Tables etc. Now the question you can ask is why do we require these reporting frameworks? Report implies some manipulation like sorting, filtering, Customization of view like showing hiding data, Exporting functionality etc. To get rid of overburden of implementation we do prefer using reporting tools. So choose yours or tell me what plateform are you working on I'll try to find best reporting tool for you. :)
