Gridview Footer Total Column

I want In gridview footer the total is not genrated it gives me error - 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

Hi Vinita,
Try this code(Solved your error):

Hi Dear,

this is simple error comes when object is null, your trying to access it so throwing error, go to execption settings check the checkboxes then execute it will show you where exactly exception is occuring
