Guessing number according to past values

Hello,

I have lotto numbers stored in a DB. Is there a way to analyze those numbers and make a guess which numbers will be drawn this week after making some analysis on the previous data set? Any help would be great.

Yes you are right. There are 6 numbers for each draw. I make it short for the example I gave. But I don't get your solution.

I assume there are more numbers for a draw, isn't that the case? You must have 6 or 7 numbers in a week. With gap I meant the gap between the numbers in the same week.

In your case you can create a list between the weeks, and count the offset, for example +4 happens twice in your history, so it is more likely to occur. I'd guess 12 next before any other number.

Lets say we had 10 draws. The number 44 picked on the 4th week. So how should I determine the frequency of gaps?

week 2 5
week 3 9
week 4 44
week 5 22
week 6 30
week 7 50
week 8 20
week 9 11

Similar to counting the occurrence of the numbers, just create a list of gaps based on the draws and how often they occur. Then when you determine your prediction use that to space the numbers you pick.

Perhaps you can try to determine the most common intervals between the numbers within a draw.

Create an array per number, count how many of it are drawn so far and divide by the number of draws.

Somehow I need to find the draw frequency of the numbers, but how?

How can I guess which numbers are going to be drawn next week? I mean should I need some sort of AI or whatever?

I don't have a ready sample, but assuming the ideas above you can start by counting all numbers drawn in the past. Once you have that, randomly select the amount of numbers with the highest/lowest count.

Sure, just create a prediction method based on what you would choose. For example, you can choose the numbers that have been drawn most often, or choose from the numbers which haven't been drawn yet, or something in between. Either way, trying to predict a semi-random event is tricky.

Do you have code yet? Anything in particular you need help with?
