First clear your basics and start creating small modules for example

1.How to create Filters in MVC?

 ans:-create a Login Module by creating an Authentication Filter and grasp the concept.

 

2.When to use viewmodels?

ans:-  try to show multiple  database tables data in a single view, you will know when to use VM.

 

3. why to use routing, when there is already a default route defined and can handle everything?

 ans:- your url looks like localhost://Home/GetStudent?Name=sachin&Id=4  but you want professional url like

  localhost://Home/GetStudent/sachin  thats it. try to achieve this by manipulating routes , by using attribute routing, your fundamentals will be strong.

 

Similarly , go through each concept and solve some real world problem.  then the next day search internet for Ecommerce Layout and write the backend, create database and start coding.

 

 Note:- By downloading source code or copy paste work you will never be a good on that. download but write your own logic if it doesn't work then just refer that part and think why he coded like that and what's wrong in my code.
