What is Method Overloading?

C# allows you to define different versions of a method in class, and the compiler will automatically select the most appropriate one based on the parameters supplied.

following example have Overloaded method Add().

    public int Add(int a, int b)
    {
        return a+b;
    }

    public int Add(int a, int b, int c)
    {
        return a+b+c;
    }
     
}

Method Hiding

 A hiding method has to be declared using the new keyword. The correct class definition in the second listing is thus:
