Why one fine day you decided not to code in VB.Net??? what pushed you to abandon VB.Net??

I'm asking cause I'm also a former vb6, vb.net developer who spent many years developing in vb 6 and vb.net, learnt a lot ... but also abandonned it due to the fact that I was missing many job opportunity, noticed that passion was not alone, I was supposed to mix passion + professionalism... and decided to upgrade to C# Desktop (WinForm) first then to C# ASP.Net MVC later.

I think that would map to static class in C#, if i remember it right.

I am a former VB / VB.NET developer, who on one fine day decided not to code in vb.net anymore and much of terms are now buried deep down in memory.
