Here is small javascript based solution for you.
let us say i have page called as "Winopener.aspx" and i want to open "Default.aspx" as per your requirement oncloseing "Winopener.aspx" you should open "Defaul.aspx" but session should be new right?
here is "Winopener.aspx" code
<
html><head>
<title>Suboktitle>
<script language="JavaScript">
script>
head>
<body onunload="window.opener='';OpenMyWin()">
body>
html>
Winopener.aspx.cs have following code
protected
void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e){Response.Write(Session.SessionID.ToString());}
"Default.aspx" is also some page at the code behind of the same page have same code
Default.aspx.cs
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{Response.Write(Session.SessionID.ToString());}
You will see the session ID different, by which i am saying that sessions are different and hence your problem get solved.
