Hi,

Your DbDataReader.GetString(int) method takes int as argument and you are passing string value. If string value you are passing is column name then try passing column index. That should fix your issue.

Try with below code:
SqlDataReader dbr;
try
{
    con.Open();
    dbr = cmd.ExecuteReader();
    while(DataReader.Read())
    {
        this.chart1.Series["age"].Points.AddXY(dbr.GetString(0), myreader.GetInt32(1));
    }
}
catch(Exception ex)
{
    MessageBox.Show(ex.Message);
}
Assume that Name is first column of table so it is passing 0 and column Age as second column so passing as 1. You may change as per your table column sequence.

Error is self explanatory. You are missing type casting. Check data type of input you are passing and retrieving output. If you can share code snippet, that will help fix the issue real quick
