how can we add scan option in asp.net application

To my knowledge, scanning features are not supported by web browsers directly. You need to install components at the client side to communicate with the client's twain sources, and sending the scanned images to the browser.
I tried web scanning feature from leadtools programming tools and it looks promising.
I started by checking their HTML5 scanning application:
