if (e.KeyChar == ' ') e.Handled = true;

}

This one here I tried first

private void textBox1_KeyPress(object sender, KeyPressEventArgs e)

{

if (e.KeyChar == ' ') e.Handled = true;

}

worked 100%, but I will keep the other code for future refence too.

You can do on KeyPress Event like this

this.textBox1.KeyPress += new KeyPressEventHandler(this.textBox1_TextChanged);

private void textBox1_TextChanged(object sender, KeyPressEventArgs e)

{

e.Handled = !(char.IsLetter(e.KeyChar) || e.KeyChar == (char)Keys.Back);

}
