How Open PDF File

Question

Dear Friends,

How to open File PDF File while Enter Invoice Number that PDF i have local Folder. I want reterive PDF File through AppConfing file.

For Example Enter Invoice No, i want show that invoice corresponding PDF using Windows Application.

Hi, unfortunately there is quite a few information lacking. Nevertheless here is something I presume you need. If you have an app.config file, as you menthioned, that contains locations of invoicing PDFs then you can just retrieve that location with ConfigurationManager and use Process.Start to open that PDF in the machine's default application for PDF format, something like the following: string pdfInvoice1 = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["1"]; Process.Start(pdfInvoice1); If I'm mistaken and you actually need to generate a new invoice, then check out this article how to create a new PDF file in C# .

The requirement is not still clear. Do you want to enter a number (in your case invoice No.) and based on that number a PDF will open? If yes, how does the number connect to the PDF? Does it resemble the PDF name? If it does, you can simply convert the number to string to load the PDF. For loading the pdf you can use an SDK like iTextSharp, leadtools..etc You can find lots of articles and samples on loading the PDF on the internet.
