Hello, I do not know what custom control you are trying to create, but for starters here is a n example of creating a custom Button: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/miscctrl/cutebutton.aspx Basically all you need to do is inherit the class that you want to extend and override methods that need to behave the way you want them to. In the example you override the OnPaint method of the Button class to enable your custom skin to be show on the button. Hope this helps.
