how to access function of one page to another ?

i have a button in one page which when clicked performs specific tasks i have created a new page and i want to give link or i want same button which does same tasks i dont want to copy the whole code as it is on new page is it an other way where i can link that function ?

i could have used app_code if i was gonna use it again anywhere but then i made change in the requirement and used the same code again in just 5-6 lines

Main use of writing functions is Reusablity. If you don't want to make dublicate of it, write a common or helper class, put that function in that class and call that function in multiple places.

Hello Subin

You can create a class in app_code folder and write your function in this class,then create object of this class in your page and access the function,all the function that we reuse in our project ,its better to wrtite in a specfic class
