What is this to do with the original question?

Anyway:

if (row["stockcode"] == txProduct.product_code && Boolean.Parse(row["saved"]) == false)

It is important to understand what you want to achieve? Otherwise we will give wrong solution.

What you are comparing with what? What are their respective sample values? What is the expected output?

Help to rectify below

with this

if (row["stockcode"] = txProduct.product_code & (row["saved"] == false ))

i get this error

Error 75 Operator '==' cannot be applied to operands of type 'object' and 'bool'

Are you saying 'module' as in .mod file in VB?

If yes, you should mention it very explicitly. I can guarantee you than 80% (even more) of members here will not understand it unless they have worked in VB in the past.

Assuming yes, the comparable construct is probably a public static class.
