Hello Zubair, While Satyaprakash suggested what would probably be the best solution, I have one that I used to do and still fall back to when I can't remember code correctly. If you don't have too many textboxes that this needs to be done with you can select the textbox in visual studio, set a GotFocus event, create an if statement for the text you want to put in and then set another for LostFocus. I know that this probably isn't the best method to use and might buy me a bad look or two but it has worked great for me in the past. GotFocus -- if (myTextbox.text == "Enter Text Here" ) { myTextbox.text = "" ; } LostFocus -- if (myTextbox.text == "" ) { myTextbox.text = "Enter Text Here" ) } Just figured this may be useful to someone somewhere sometime. Just make sure the text is the same in both the lost and got. Hope this helps. David W.
