hi , i want to bind a value from another viewmodel

there is different ways:

first solution is to use events and attach to the event from the other viewModel. here is an example:
public FirstViewModel()
{
}
public string Name
{
get
{
return name;
}
set
{
SetProperty(ref this.name, value);
}
}
}
in the second VM
public SecondViewModel()
{
FirstViewMode.PropertyChanged += Current_PropertyChanged;
}
public string Name
{
get
{
return name;
}
set
{
SetProperty(ref this.name, value);
}
}
private void Current_PropertyChanged(object sender, System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventArgs e)
{
switch (e.PropertyName)
{
case "Name":
OnPropertyChanged("Name");
break;
}
}

Hi,
In order to achieve this, you'll have to make Has-A relationship with yourViewModel.
    Then bind
MyOtherVMProperty.PropertyNeedsToBeBound
class YourViewModel{
       private OtherViewModel myVar;

        public OtherViewModel MyOtherVMProperty
        {
            get { return myVar; }
            set { myVar = value; }
        }
}
