Mostly PIP Installed in Python, so using PIP you Install MySQL Connector. For Installation command for Windows/Linux/Ubuntu/Mac OS ,Follow below link for description. https://pynative.com/install-mysql-connector-python/ Prerequisites for connect to MySQL: 1.Database Name : Here you provide Database name which you want to connect. 2. Host Name : Here you provide server name Example: if you work on local system then your Hostname is " localhost". 3. Username: username that want to work on MySQL Example: "Root" is Default username in MySQL. 4. Password : During Mysql Installation time if you provide password to it then This is password to connect MySQL. If you use Root User then you don't need of password. Here we try to connect MySQL to python with Default user "Root" import mysql.connector connection = mysql.connector. connect (host= 'localhost' , database = 'db_Employee' , user = 'Root' , password = ' ' ) print( connection ) If you work on your username and password then code for Connection is: import mysql.connector connection = mysql.connector. connect (host= 'localhost' , database = 'db_Employee' , user = 'username' , password = ' password' ) print( connection )
