We can do it in vs 2005 "i do not have visual studio 1005 " :) 1. Run the Visual Studio 2005 IDE 2. Click File>New>Web Site 3. Click Ok in the appearing dialog 4. Open the Solution Explorer from menu View>Solution Explorer 5. Right click on the Default.aspx and choose View Code 6. Place the following line inside the Page_Load method you are viewing this.Response.Write("Hello! World"); 7. Execute the application by clicking the Debug>Start Debugging Menu 8. Click Ok for the appearing dialog 9. Wait for a while 10. Now you should be seeing the Hello! World in your browser

Create a new web site or web application from the Visual Studio menu. Open your default.aspx page and change the tab on the bottom to split so that you can see both html and design. I like adding the html myself, but you can potentially drop a label in. Inside the form tag you can add something like
