Class is a wrapping up of data and function into a single unit. Basically, the variables inside the class are called "Data Members" and function inside the class are called "Member function". By using class you can implement "encapsulation" feature. Now class is design like :- class class -name { data members; member functions; }; In above line of syntax,"class" is a keyword to define a class. Now I am going to create a class to add two numbers: #include #include class Add { int a,b; //data members public : void get() { cout "Enter two number" ; cin>>a>>b; } void show() { cout "Sum is " } }; void main() { Add ob; ob.get(); ob.show(); } In above code, we created class having two functions, however, we can be done this on a single function, but by this, we can easily maintain separation of code, i.e one function is define to get all information from the user, one is for calculation and one is for output. You cannot access the member function of a class directly, so, here we need to create object like :- Add ob // Add is a class name, and 'ob' is an object name, you can use any name By the help of object we can access 'public' members of a class.
