i did it in console application convert that to windows forms or what ever it is.
I also didn't understand the last part of your question asking to convert to 2x4 to 4x8.
If you can explain that part in more detail i can do that one as well. You also didn't mention what kind of application it is windows forms or console or something else. Also you didn't mention how you will be giving input conversion from 2x4 to 4x8 or something like that. Will you get 8 inputs every time and want to convert that to 2x4 and from that to 4x8 is this format fixed or else you want the user to be popped up for the number of elements he want to convert and what kind of matrix he need. If you can answer all these things i am ready to provide you more efficient code.
