How to fire OnClick event from User Control

This is a known issue with user controls. You need to assign an ID to the user control then the click events will work.

To do this add an event to the user control itself and then map that event to the internal button of the control. Then you can add an event handler on the page that maps to your user control. In other words... The page will subscribe to your user control event. The user control event handler subsribes to the individual button. All you need to do is expose the buttons click event handler so that the outside world can get at it.
