How to generate an XML file in ASP.NET?

Hi,

In an application there are some text fields are there after data entered in the text boxes when user clicks on the submit button an XML file should be generated.

If the names of the textboxes are unrelated, then I'd try this code:

protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Button b = (Button)sender;
string filePath = "whatever.xml"; // put full path here for file to be saved
XElement textboxes = new XElement("textboxes"); // root element

foreach (Control c in b.Parent.Controls)
{
if (c is TextBox)
{
TextBox tb = c as TextBox;
XElement textbox = new XElement("textbox", new XAttribute("id", tb.ID));
textbox.Value = tb.Text;
textboxes.Add(textbox);
}
}

textboxes.Save(filePath);
}

Anyway, luckily, I still have the code:
