How to host a Website?

The below are the steps followed to host a website on shared server -

1. Publish your ASP.Net application from Visual Studio.
2. Log into server using FTP details
3. Open the httpdocs folder
4. Upload all files to the server
5. Make changes to web.config files for Db connections and other production related settings.
6. Give permissions to writeable folders through Plesk.
7. You're done.
