Hi friends ,

I have a database 1 that contains tables with their records and I have a database 2 of which I want to import data from tables in database 1

how to do

I have no idea and thank you in advance

follow these steps: right click database -> tasks -> import data

select the source database and follow the rest of the steps

You can also backup and restore the database using SQL Server Management Studio.

If both databases are in same SQL DB Server instance then you can use the below TSQL

Run this sql query after selecting db as database 2
INSERT INTO dbo.Table1 SELECT * FROM SQLDBServerName.database1.dbo.Table2
Note: please change the SQLDBServerName, Database and table name according to your scenario.
