how to insert data into sql from window form using class.

i want to create class for insert,update,delete data to sql from window form using class..Please give me a code and explain in brief..

As mentioned before this is NOT the complete code. This is just to get you started. Just to give you an idea number of classes involved and what each class will do.

Once you start developing, you will have more question. Which you can ask and will get answered.

Or just google and you will get code samples. Something as shown below:

Remember, however, that in above example, data access code is written under button click event itself, which is bad bad practice.

Unfortunately, I may not be able to give you a code, but can give you an idea. It is almost always fruitful to get hands dirty writing the code, because you know exactly what it is and most importantly why. You got to start some where and there is always a first time.

Model class:

public class CustomerInfo     // Typically xxxInfo classes will not have any methods.
{
public String Name {get; set;}
}
Business class

public class Customer
{
public Int32 Save(CustomerInfo customerInfo)
{
      CustomerDataAccess cad = new CustomerDataAccess()

     return cad.Save(customerInfo);
   }

public static List GetAll()
   {

   }
}
DataAccess

public class CustomerDataAccess
{
   public Int32 Save(CustomerInfo customerInfo)
   {
     //      prepare parameters list
      SqlParameter[] parameters = ....
       DataAccess da = new DataAccess();
      Int32 result = da.ExecuteProcedure("dbo.SaveCustomer", parameters)
      return result
   }
}
Something like this....but then there are several different ways. Some resort to Entity Framework which takes care of much of the plumbing job.
