How to integrate SQLitening with WPF C#?

Hello everyone,

I want to develop windows application in WPF.

The customer requirement is...

1) They want two window apps one is for client mechine and another one is for server/admin mechine. Both are network connected systems. The client systems are access the admin system by throught IP address using connection string. Something like:-

@"Data Source=10.0.0.101

2) Admin's windows application Installing time, should install or add database also automatically.

For this all requirement,

Is 'SQLitening' dabase suite for here or another one?

But I do not know how to integrate SQLitening with WPF C#.NET.

How can I do with this one?

Please advice me. I am so confused.

If they want open source db, you can go for SQLite (as I am unaware about the actual requirement for building the application.

Here is the list of Open source DB that might help you to judge according to the requirement but be sure to read its advantage/disadvantage before proceeding and also aware the customer if it is having disadvantage, this might help you to perform your operation smoothly and more secure.

Here is one important thing demanding customer that is,

1) They want to use open-source database.

2) Please note: Admin's windows application Installing time, should install or add database also automatically.

Hey Abhilash,
SQLite is a standalone database and can be used with your standalone application. It is not suitable for cliet server application or as a networked database.

However, you can do almost everything in SQLite as SQL Server but I prefer to use SQL Server for better performance and security purpose.

You can install SQL Server on any system and both the peer systems can access that database by using that IP address of the machine.
