How to maintain state for asp.net page

You're doing history.back() and that makes current page completely lost, including control states. Do not do it in that way, but rather post page to the server so that server can maintain state.

Another way for you is to write pretty complicated javascript which iterates through controls on current page and stores user's answers to hidden fields, or something similar. Do not store current answers in cookies because of potentially uncontrollable volume.

if i am using the above line in pageload i am not loosing previous page records. but loosing next page records. can u please anyone help me .

You can do it either in database or in session state.

If you use session state, then it could look like: Session["Answer1"] = 3; Session["Answer2"] = 2; etc.

Then use these variables to set radio buttons or check boxes, etc. when showing the page.
