How to pass the list<> in cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue

Good Morning,

As i have written a stored procedure for update and the data is present inside the list<> and i am getting the error saying that the items in the list must be passed seperately in C#....please do let me know how to do it!!

Hello Sir,

SqlCommand cmd5 = new SqlCommand();
cmd5.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
cmd5.Connection = con;
DocumnetModel documnetModel=new DocumnetModel();
cmd5.CommandText = "Updatedoc_tbl";
cmd5.Parameters.AddWithValue("@doclist", claim.doclist);

con.Open();
int a = cmd5.ExecuteNonQuery();
con.Close();

The above mentioned code is my update sp and the claim.doclist is a List<>,
so i want to seperately mention all the objects inside the claim.doclist instead of mentioning cmd5.Parameters.AddWithValue("@doclist", claim.doclist);

So please do the needful!!

consider the below example, where I have to use in operator.
string sql = "SELECT dscr FROM system_settings WHERE setting IN ({0})";
string[] paramArray = settingList.Select((x, i) => "@settings" + i).ToArray();
cmd.CommandText = string.Format(sql, string.Join(",", paramArray));

for (int i = 0; i < settingList.Count; ++i)
{
    cmd.Parameters.Add(new SqlParameter("@settings" + i, settingList[i]));
}

Hello Sir,

Can u please breif it as i didn't understand!!

for reference: in my code, cmd5.Parameters.AddWithValue("@doclist", claim.doclist); here claim.doclist is a list and it is throwing an error saying to ddisplay all the objects inside this list seperately...please do let me know how to do it!!

Add loop through, below code is just reference.
for (int i = 0; i < IDList.Count; i++)
{
    Cmd.Parameters.Clear();
    Cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@ImageId", IDList[i]);
}
