How to raise 1 event from another event?

depends on what your calling.. you you want the click event then it would be button2_click ( this, e ); you can use e as your second paramater because both button1 and button2's click handler events would be the same.

An event is a procedure(method) only. so it can be called from any other method depending on its access modifier. so, 'textBox1__TextChanged ' method can be called from 'button1_click'. the only constraint is providing correct argumnet which is required by the called event. provide the right parameter and you can call any method.

In your button1_click event simply put textBox1_TextChanged ( button1, null ); it will just call your testBox1_TextChanged function with button1 as the sender and no arguments.
