How To Remove Special Characters In rdlc report

Hi All,

Im building the rdlc report where i have special characters like ',`,®. how to allow these characters into a report or how to remove those characters and generate a report.

Now when the special characters are in the data, when i am generating the report it shows a syntax error as "Missing operands 's " .

Request you to help me out.

If you are using single quote in code behind them use it two times ''(two single quotes)

In Sql im getting the data correctly but when i am running report it showing an error.

There might be any minor mistake in your expression. Can you recheck after removing the registered mark, the issue still persist? Kindly check your sql query.

Hi Amit,

Please refer to the below screenshot where i am getting the data from SP as Sai's but when i open report it is showing the error as syntax error: missing operand after s operator.

Can you show screenshot or something to understand because I am already using the registered mark ® in rdlc just as usual without any issue
