How to retrieve Project from Source Controll

am developing a system and i have added the system to source controll but i have no idea if i want to download my project from source controll ,kindly show me the procedures

Which source control tool you are using, e.g. TFS, Git, or any other?
What problem you are facing in using that tool?

Most of the source control tools have integration in Visual Studio and you can connect using the "Team Explorer" under "View " menu is VS. You can setup source control connection under "Team" menu "Manage Connections"
