how to select only fields with ‘not null’ values

If you want to select rows which has not null values and also not the values like blank space then you can use ISNULL in a single query also as shown below. It will check both at the same time. Below is that query.

Select
, , ....
from
where ISNULL(,'') <> '' AND ISNULL(, '') <> ''

I cannot tell which of your scripts created the result. You have two scripts with where clauses that limit trans_type to NOT NULL. The other two have no where clauses. Still, there is no way this could be happening. If there are NULL's and NOT NULL values in a column and your where clause has is not null, then only NOT NULL values will be returned. I would try running script #3 again to verify.
