how to set program when server log off

i have an application running of win xp (server),and i have two workstation connected to server now when server is logged off the system is not communicating with server ,is there a way i can be able to sort it out

I can think of two ways to achieve this. First by rewriting your application as a Windows service. That way it can keep running even without a user begin logged on. Second is to turn your application into a web application, so it can run on IIS (which also runs when nobody is logged on).

What kind of communication are you doing at the moment?
