How to solve algebra equation in asp.net

For polynomials of degree higher than two and equations involving transcendental functions (log, exp, sin, cos etc), it's best to use iterative methods such as Newton-Raphson.

There's a C# library here (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/recipes/nonlinear.aspx) which does that for a system of non-linear equations - presumably it can also solve a single equation which contains a single variable.
