1. Start Visual Studio 2010. If the Open Project dialog box pops up, click on Cancel to close it. 2. Go to menu File | New | Project. The New Project dialog window will appear. 3. Just Select C# Library from templates 4. Add Reference for system.ServiceModel Then all you need to create a contract ie interface and implement it and then call it in the client application.

Last Six months back I faced the same problem to learn WCF. I learnt WCF from this eBook. I hope this will definitly helpful to you.Besides reading you have to do more hardwork in practise also.
