How to stop, start and restart service?

Before you try to do these things programatically, I'd check first that you can do them manually to the service in question as there are a number of reasons why they may not work.

Before attempting to stop a service programatically, you can also check the ServiceController.CanStop properly to see whether it's stoppable.

ive tried it laready but it doesnt work.
