How to Using jQuery to Send Email with Web Services in .net and how to write code for email send in web service?

I am attaching the Working code in Html page with jQuery and webservice to send mail. just download it and open it in visual studio. Run the Html page and check.

I am using this line of code:-

my mail did not send.

modify the below line

var serviceurl =location.protocol + "//" + domain + "Website/SendingMailWebService.asmx/SendUserMail";

to
var serviceurl =location.protocol + "//" + domain + "/Website/SendingMailWebService.asmx/SendUserMail";

Max charater length for Meassage is 500.

but it's not running sucessfully.

My SMTP is disabled i am not installing SMTP through my xp cd.
Can it be reason for my error?

you may need to provide network credential for using smtp server

The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. x8sm14418136pbb.39 - gsmtp

Here is an error coming with gmail smtp.

when we write this code:-

mailMessage.Subject = "Test Subject";

mailMessage.IsBodyHtml = true;
mailMessage.Body = message;
SmtpClient mailbox = new SmtpClient("My smtp");
mailbox.Send(mailMessage);
return true;

My SMTP is Correct.

I believe you have use correct server address in place of my smtp

MailMessage mailMessage = new MailMessage();
mailMessage.From = new MailAddress(frmMailId,name);
mailMessage.To.Add("my email id");
mailMessage.Subject = "Test Subject";

mailMessage.IsBodyHtml = true;
mailMessage.Body = message;
SmtpClient mailbox = new SmtpClient("my smtp");
mailbox.Port = my port number;

mailbox.Credentials = new NetworkCredential("your user id", "your password");

mailbox.Send(mailMessage);
return true;

mailbox.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(fromMailId, "your gmail password");
mailbox.EnableSsl = true;

System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Again error

I am using our smtp details.

The userName and password settings refer to the credentials for connecting to the SMTP server. Make sure you don't confuse this with the username and password for the from or to address, which is not relevant to the SMTP server.

to mail id is to whom your are sending the details. If you say it will be always static then in your webmethod change it

Thanks for this solution, but buddy, I want to write only frommailid and tomailid has to be static.

Name:- Ankit
Email:- [email protected]
Message:- Test

SEND

Suppose I clicked On SEND and then message send to another email id, It should not be send to my [email protected].

Msg sholud be send as it is like:-

Name:- Ankit
Email:- [email protected]
Message:- Test

I am confusing that, what is toMailID?, it should be static and from mailid and name should be enter by user.
