how to write the code to preview the files in c# ?

Here is the deal, it is very difficult to decide the preview control. 
For example, to display the image, text files we can use image control and textbox control respectively.
If the user uploads, word file, pdf file, bin file or even exe file then what should be the behaviour of the application.

Please post your thoughts for discussion.

 I didn't give any restrictions on file type.

and also i want to show the preview inside the application.

Do you have any restriction on the file type (like only for text ,image , word files etc) ?
