HTTPPOST method to get record?

Can we use HTTP POST method to get records? If so what are the benefits and which scenarios?

Hi Maniknandan, Yes, You can use. Lets take scenarios you need to pass many parameter and based on that you need to filter your response from your method that time you can use Post method to get desiger result. Note: In HTTPGET you can not pass body so many scenarios where you need to pass many paramter so thats not good to pass in querystring which we are using in GET method. In this case we have to go for HTTPPOST.

Hi, we can use POST method while retriving data from database also. Let say we need to get data filtering with several parameters that time we use POST method and pass the parameters to get record.
