Hyper-V

Hi:

I am working on creating a windows 8 mobile apps. One issue I'm currently facing is hyper-V error message. please see attached for detail on message.

My computer meets all the requirements. I have Lenovo with intel core i7 4700MQ 2.4GHZ processor with 8 GB memory and windows 8.1 OS and X64 bit based processor.

I followed other blogs to enable hyper-v but On my Windows feature I do not even see option to enable my Hyper-v. (please see attached)

On my BIOS, I have Hyper-v enabled as well. (see image)

I have most updated Windows 8.0 SDK installed. My VS 2013 ultimate does show emulator option but when I try to build my project it throws this error.

So really do not know how to get my app to run without using windows 8 phone. if nothing works that will be the last resort.

Baj, you may not have it with your version of Windows 8. The requirements are: What You'll Need to Run Hyper-V on Windows 8 In order to run Client Hyper-V on Windows 8 you'll need the following: ##Windows 8 Pro or Enterprise 64 bit Operating System ##64 bit processor with Second Level Address Translation (SLAT) ##BIOS-level Hardware Virtualization support ##At least 4GB system ram

Actually I tried that and it worked. and when I logged in here, you have same suggestion.

Note* if anybody else is having similar problem: Steps I followed to fix it:
1. Installed/Updated to Windows 8 Pro
2. Enabled Hyper-V by going to Window features. (simply search for windows feature)
3. But I had to re-install windows Development tool 8.1 from:
http://dev.windowsphone.com/en-us/downloadsdk

Now it works :)
